The Media Arts & Animation program begins with a foundation in drawing, color, character design and computer applications. You will work with program specific software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and Discreet's 3D Studio Max. At graduation, you will have an individualized digital portfolio to showcase your creative skills in traditional and digital 2-D and 3-D techniques and abilities.

• Bachelor of Science in Animation & Media Arts

When you study 3D Animation at CDIA you'll be preparing yourself for a career in animation, video game development, or visual effects. You Will learn about the practical realities of building and sustaining a career, and you'll make valuable contacts, while you build your demo reel. 3D Animation students may take part in a four-week Production Practicum, creating a project for a real-world client under the direction of a professional. You'll gain confidence, refine your skills, and get a better understanding of the career you're training for.

Digital Video and Animation Develop a foundation of video and animation skills that are in demand across a variety of fields, such as web design, television, film, architecture, commercials, game design, forensics, and medical imaging.
